What We Do *

At The Shepherd’s Table, we believe no neighbor should go hungry.

That’s why we offer four core programs designed to meet different needs in our community: a Community Kitchen serving hot meals daily, a Client-Choice Pantry where families can shop for the foods they need, a Fresh Xpress Farmers Market bringing fresh produce each month, and our innovative OrderAhead Lockers for convenient grocery pickup. Together, these programs provide nourishment, dignity, and hope for thousands of neighbors each year.

Community Kitchen

Kitchen hours:

Monday-Friday

Lunch - 11:00 - 12:00

Dinner - 4:00-5:30

Serves 100+ hot, homemade meals daily, Monday–Friday

More than 25,000 meals are provided each year to children, adults, and seniors

Cost per meal is under $0.80 thanks to donations and volunteers

Client-Choice Pantry

Pantry Hours

Tuesdays and Thursdays: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Wednesdays 10:00 am - 1:00 pm for seniors and our neighbors with disabilities

In our Pantry, we offer (when available) dairy, eggs, fruits and vegetables, meat, pet food/supplies, shelf-stable/non-perishable goods, and hygiene products.

  • Open three times a week so families can shop for the foods they need

  • Provides groceries for 650+ family meals each week

  • Over 300,000 pounds of food are distributed annually

  • Offers client-choice shopping, giving families dignity and flexibility in selecting their groceries

Fresh Xpress

Every third Saturday of the month, we host a no-cost Farmers Market at The Shepherd’s Table from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. to distribute fresh fruits and vegetables.

  • Held on the third Saturday of each month

  • Distributes 10,000+ pounds of fresh produce every year

  • Ensures neighbors have access to fruits and vegetables, not just shelf-stable food
